Welcome to ClickBank AdFeed Reviews!

We provide detailed information you can use to monetize your Web site, with a special focus on ClickBank product promotion.

We will show you alternatives to Google Adsense that hold the promise of generating much more income than Adsense. If you've ever used (or are still using) Adsense, you're well aware of the money-making potential of this kind of advertising.

How you benefit from ClickBank

  • Over 10,000 digital products to promote and sell
  • Popular, high-traffic site; tens of thousands of products fulfilled each day
  • Affiliates can earn up to 75% commission
But if you don't want to actively promote products, you can just 'slap' up an ad block to display ClickBank products that are relevant to the content of your site's pages. Then you have your passive income, just like Adsense.

Affiliate Advertising

Affiliate advertising means advertising products as an affiliate. You don't just get some pennies for a click, you get a piece of the pie when your visitor decides to purchase.

Benefits of Affiliate Advertising

  • As an affiliate, you receive some portion of the net income from a sale, not just pennies for a click.
  • You can be more selective about the types of ads displayed; in some cases you can even select the exact ads to display.
  • Google will send you a check once you have earned a minimum of $100. ClickBank will send you checks for as little as $10, as often as every two weeks.
So, you should be asking by now, what exactly do we review?

We review RSS adfeeds. We describe how much they cost, where to sign up, how to set up a feed, and show you how they look on the page. We provide a summary table that shows you at a glance how they stack up against Google Adsense.

What exactly are RSS adfeeds?

These are servers composed of software programs and scripts that search through Clickbank's database of products, select products based on your preferences, format product descriptions into ads and display them to your visitor. Some are free, some are not. Exactly how they work is the subject of the next section, "Using RSS Feeds".

In order to use these programs, you will need a ClickBank affiliate ID. It's free. Just go sign up at http://www.ClickBank.com. Each of the programs reviewed here (other than Adsense) will automatically generate hoplinks using your ClickBank affiliate ID for each displayed product ad.

Can Anyone Do This?

Here's our gauge: If you created a Web site using some sort of text or HTML editor, got yourself a domain name (or have a personal web page provided by your ISP) and uploaded the HTML files, you should be able to put ads on your site to help you promote ClickBank products.

You will need a few basic tools, resources and skills. These include a computer, a website, a host for your website. Some basic tools are a text editor, a zip/unzip utility (such as Winzip), an ftp program (such as WS_ftp, or even the DOS command line version of ftp).

You should be able to operate basic computer applications (text editor, Web browser, ftp) and edit, upload and download files. Even the slightest familiarity with HTML and scripts would be beneficial.

In all cases you will need to modify the HTML code for your site; in some cases you will need to modify and upload special scripts to your website, that support the application.

Depending on the application you choose, your website host might need to be UNIX (Linux) based, instead of Windows. Your host may need to be able to handle cgi, php and perl programming. The application will spell out what is required by your web host. Your browser should of course be able to handle Javascript.

The pages coming up

The next section is a very short discussion of ClickBank's Marketplace feed, and how the ads appear on your Web site.

Then in the Reviews section we will start with a brief discussion of Google Adsense. While Adsense is included in the "reviews," it is actually separate from the reviewed feeds, because (as we'll explain) it's simply there as something to compare against.

After discussing Adsense we provide reviews for six feeds, and include directions for signup, setup and configuration. We also provide one or more examples of each tool in action.

We summarize at the end with a table that stacks all the tools against Adsense, showing how each application performs. We had planned to include a beginner/experienced/expert rating, but these tools are really no more complicated to use than Adsense, and none require familiarity with anything beyond basic computer and web-related resources and skills.

Finally our Articles page will offer you recent articles about contextual advertising, product promotion, ClickBank news, affiliate programs, and any others that can help you monetize your Web site.

Remember to return from time to time as we add more reviews.
